Variety is the name of the game for the 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It comes in four different engine options, each with its own perks and advantages. The first is a 3.6L Pentastar® V6 with Electronic Stop/Start Technology. This engine has 295 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, which gives it a towing capacity of 6,200 lbs. Upgrade to the 5.7L V8 and you’ll get a 7,200 lb towing capacity from the 360 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque, or get even more power from the 6.4L V8 engine with 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque along with an eight-speed automatic transmission and five drive modes. The largest and most powerful engine is the Supercharged 6.2L V8 engine in the Trackhawk® trim with an incredible 707 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque.
Aside from just the engines, the 2019 Grand Cherokee has a lot of other features going for it. First up is a Quadra-Lift® Suspension System, which can raise the height of the vehicle when you’re foraging big rocks or lower the height for better aerodynamics on the open road and easier entry. Multiple all-wheel drive systems are also available for optimal handling and control in the worst road conditions. Other available performance features in select trims include skid plates, tow hooks, Selec-Terrain® Traction Management System, and much more.
