Keep reading to learn all about the new Pacifica twins.
New for 2018
Chrysler added a ton of new features for the 2018 model year. The hybrid gets a new Touring Plus entry-level trim, while its sibling gets one, too: the new base Pacifica L. Both start at a mid-range base price of $39,995 and $26,995 respectively.
After dropping the hybrid alternative’s Touring L and Limited trims, Chrysler replaced them with the well appointed Premium and Platinum models. Then it shuffled around the gas model’s feature availability over its lineup of six trim levels.
Both variants are loaded with more standard features, from the Pacifica Hybrid’s HD radio and smartphone integration to the classic model’s new standard features, including a 7-inch touchscreen, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay.
Charming, Spacious Interior
The 2018 Chrysler Pacifica is an excellent choice for families or anyone who needs lots of passenger space. Thanks to a well built interior and a long list of features, there’s plenty to like about it. There’s comfortable seating for up to seven passengers, and the cabin stays quiet even when zipping down the road at highway speeds.
Its cabin features quality materials such as Alloy Nappa leather trim and is purposefully designed with your family in mind. With an astounding 243 possible seating configurations, both the gas-powered and hybrid Pacifica offer ample room for passengers and cargo. Take advantage of the Stow ‘n Go seats to reveal 140.5 cubic feet of storage area.
Intuitive Tech Features
Enjoy every moment on the road with Pacifica’s innovative technology. From Sirius XM satellite radio to the 10.1-inch available Uconnect theater system, these family-mobiles are the most technologically advanced minivans in a highly competitive segment.
Only in its second model year, the Pacifica offers a lengthy list of driver assistance features engineered to keep you safe. Chrysler added electronic stability control that applies the brakes and reduces power to keep you in control.
When you’re traveling the open road, nothing is more important than your family’s safety. That’s why every Pacifica comes loaded with a ton of standard features including Chrysler’s SafetyTec package with blind spot monitors, rear cross-path warnings, and the ParkSense parking assistant.
Performance and Fuel Economy
As expected, the new Pacifica Hybrid offers low-impact drivers exceptional fuel economy of 84 MPGe and 566 miles of total driving range. The gas-driven engine performs exceptionally well against its rivals with 28 mpg highway, thanks to its 3.6 liter Pentastar V-6 engine. Paired with a nine-speed automatic, it delivers a punchy 287 horsepower.
The highly acclaimed, award-winning series of Pacifica minivans from Chrysler offer some of the best combinations of quality and value on the lot. Test drive your favorite model at a showroom near you.
